Maurice Harron Masterclass
London Street Gallery were delighted to host a sculpting master class by Maurice as part of the extremely successful Voyage exhibition. Converting our top gallery into a studio fo the day, Maurice demonstrated the development of a complex head in process for futire work in clay.
The session was open to the public and even encouraged some of our younger artists to pick up their pens and pencils. Earlier in the week Joe Mahon hosted a very interesting talk with both Maurice and Brian Ferran, about their work, their path through the artworld and their future ambitions. Both mentioned how important encouragement to experiment with drawing, modelling and collage had been to them as children and will have been delighted to know that their work has inspired some of the future generations !
